One of Australia`s Finest Sources of Spring Water

Spring Water is bottled water derived from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth. Spring water must be collected only at the spring or through a bore hole tapping the underground formation and spring. Spring water collected with the use of an external force must be from the same underground stratum as the spring and must have all the physical properties, before treatment, and be of the same composition and quality as the water that flows naturally to the surface of the earth. Geological Overview Rosehill lies entirely within an expansive geological unit known as the Neranleigh_Fernvale Beds of Devonian-Carboniferous age (400-280) million years old). The Neranleigh_Fernvale Beds are metasedimentry sequence, described as mudstone, shale, arenite, chert, jasper, basic metavolcanics, pillow lava and conglomerate.

Basically it is a large and veried sequence of generally fine-grained, metamorphosed sedimentary and extrusive volcanic rocks. They represent the older basement rocks of the New England Fold Bet that have been moderately to strongly deformed and uplifted to form the hilly terrain of the region. Regulations The Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) sets the minimum standards for all types of bottled water. These regulations are set out in the Food Standards Code. Quest natural spring water meets and passes all of the standards therein. Comparison to Other Waters The quality of the Rosehill Park spring water compares to other waters in Australia as one of the better waters. This based on the low level of total dissolved solids found in the water and the excellent pH of the water. The spring water is drawn from an aquifer tht is primarily quartz in structure which presents a smooth and crisp tasting water with an excellent balance of minerals.

The pH level of 7.5 also enhances the quality with close to neutral pH. The neutral pH level gives the water a smooth taste with no acidic bitterness. Mineral Balance There is an excellent balance of minerals in the Rosehill Park Spring Water. The hardness level is low which shows a good balance between the levels of calcum and magnesium. sodium and Sulphate minerals are at a level that offers a benefit to the quality of the spring water taste. The bicarbonate level is also adding to the quality of the water taste and also adds the health benefits to the consumer. Higher levels of bicarbonate assist in the digestive system of the body.
